The Bancorp is a closely held shareholder-owned private corporation that was formed through a one-time stock offering to Louisville's other banks, corporations, foundations and individuals. The Louisville Community Development Bank (LCDB) is an FDIC-Insured commercial bank subsidiary of the Louisville Development Bancorp.

 

The Bancorp's real estate development affiliate contributes to the home ownership component of the Bancorp's mission by spurring housing revitalization in the Investment Area.

 

All four organizations share the same mission statement and leadership.
