Louisville Enterprise Group (LEG) was established in 1997 in the Nia Center at 2900 West Broadway. LEG plays a pivotal role of providing business development assistance to emerging businesses in the Investment Area. There are four primary categories of service offered to support business growth strategies for customers:
· a small business incubator to house emerging small businesses and entrepreneurs;
· a revolving loan fund to provide short term gap financing;
· technical assistance provided through one-to-one coaching; and training to support skill acquisition for entrepreneurs.
· Our Enterprise Development Center (EDC) is a one-stop shop for business development, training and workforce services, and public transportation access.
Creating a better quality of life for residents of its Investment Area is the shared vision of the Louisville Enterprise Group and affiliate organizations, the Louisville Community Development Bank and the Louisville Real Estate Development Company.
Fulfilling this vision requires a long-term commitment to stimulating economic growth and facilitating the expansion of opportunities for all. This major initiative is supported by many community partners, including local banks, government, organizations, businesses and individuals who work with the Louisville Enterprise Group to plant the seeds of growth and opportunity in West Louisville.
